Emerging Strategic Leaders Blended - The full programme experience, designed for greater flexibility 

Emerging Strategic Leaders Blended offers the same depth, challenge and learning experience as Windsor’s residential Emerging Strategic Leaders programme, but in a more flexible format, that brings together both residential and online learning.   

By combining online learning with a focused residential experience, the programme enables participants to engage fully with the experience while balancing professional and personal commitments.  

Who should attend?

The programme is particularly suited to leaders who: 

• are stepping into broader strategic responsibility
• would like the flexibility of a blended face to face and online experience
• are based further afield or internationally.

How the programme is delivered 

The programme is delivered in two parts, with learning intentionally designed to work effectively online while retaining the value of a residential experience. 

• Part 1 is delivered online, where much of the learning takes place.
• Part 2  includes a two-day residential experience at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor Great Park, offering time and space to meet in person, deepen relationships and reflect together.  

Although the residential element is shorter than the fully residential programme, it remains an important and purposeful part of the learning journey. 

Programme Aims

Experiential in nature, the agenda is led by the participants, with a guiding hand from the programme chair and facilitators, who aim to support the participants in:

• developing the personal qualities, insight and wisdom needed by leaders operating at the highest levels
• supporting their self-development, with a focus on the role they can play in society, and within their organisations, as their responsibilities increase
• focussing on their own leadership style, strengths, and areas for development
• sharing insights into handling difficult leadership challenges
• creating a strong peer support network.

The residential experience 

The residential element takes place at Cumberland Lodge, a historic former royal residence in Windsor Great Park. It offers space to deepen relationships built online and to experience Windsor’s distinctive residential learning environment in a focused and intentional way. 

The location is easily accessible, including for international participants travelling via Heathrow.
