When Trust in Leadership is Rocked Workshop

Tuesday 5 November, 10.00 – 15.30, Online

Overview

In recent years we have seen a significant drop in trust in both leaders as individuals, and the organisations they run. An increase in public scandals, a growing disconnect between what organisations say and do, and the deluge of fake news, have all led to diminishing levels of trust in leadership in general.

We know, though, that trust is essential to succeeding as a leader. Our ability to recruit and retain the best talent, motivate staff, meet the needs of our customers, and gain investment and buy-in from stakeholders is all related to how much we are trusted.

So how do we build and maintain trust in this environment, where the default for many is not to trust in the first place?

Join us as we explore the role that trust plays in society today, the influence of social media and how the behaviours and actions of the leader can make a difference.

Format

The day is comprised of a series of speaker sessions in the morning, with an interactive Q & A. Following a lunchtime screen break, the afternoon focuses on facilitated breakout groups, where characteristic Windsor Leadership conversations take place, under Chatham House Rule.

Benefits of attending

  • consider the challenges that exist for you and discover how your organisation might learn from them
  • explore how you might build an environment for yourself and others, that uses trust as a basis for reconciliation and development
  • discover the power of enabling open, honest and frank conversations.
