Ruth Cane Biography

Ruth is committed to helping people grow and flourish in their work. She believes that work should be fulfilling, that finding the work we love and doing it to the best of our ability is fundamental to our health and wellbeing.

Ruth has been helping individuals and organisations create positive cultures that value people for over 20 years. Her broad professional experience in learning and development, Organisational Development (OD) and HR has included senior roles in local government and the wider public sector, including the voluntary sector, as well as research and training consultancies. Her early career was spent working with people who were homeless and with young people leaving care, where she learnt that hope can be found in the smallest things.

Ruth now works as an executive and career coach and facilitator specialising in helping people develop their unique leadership qualities and presence and make a positive impact through everything that they do. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a qualified Executive Coach and OD Practitioner (NTL) and has facilitated on several Windsor Leadership programmes.

Ruth lives in West Berkshire with her husband. She loves walking, reading and looking after her garden.
