Nigel Benwell - Principal, Nigel Benwell Advisory Ltd
Nigel Benwell Advisory is a coaching and consultancy practice providing executive coaching, talent management and leadership development and assessment services to organisations and high potential individuals. His current clients include the John Lewis Partnership, Bank of New York Mellon, Virgin Group Management and The Pensions Regulator.
Prior to this, Nigel was the Head of Leadership Development and Talent Management for the Lloyds Banking Group, a position he held for six years. He originally joined Lloyds Bank as a management trainee and has held leadership and management positions within a variety of functions, including branch management, marketing, training and HR. His responsibilities with Lloyds involved him in identifying and developing future executive talent for the Group.
Nigel is passionately interested in leadership and has studied the subject in both the UK and America. He believes that in a world that is changing beyond all recognition, leadership is the most important key to organisational change, renewal and growth, whether that organisation is in the public, private or voluntary sector.
Nigel is married with two daughters and lives in London and Cambridge.
