Mike Logue - Retail Leadership Consultant / Ex CEO of Dreams Ltd

Mike was appointed CEO of Dreams Ltd in August 2013. He started his leadership career with Marks and Spencer where he spent 11 years, the last four of which was running store operations in Hong Kong, he then joined Phones 4U as Operations Director, as the business grew rapidly to 300 stores. In 2002 Mike joined Gamestation and as Managing Director successfully expanded and sold the business in 2007 to GAME group. He then spent four years at ASDA where he was Commercial Director for Non-Food. Prior to joining Dreams Mike was the UK Managing Director for Mothercare plc. 

During Mike's leadership Dreams grew annual sales by over £130M (66%) and annual losses of £5m turned to annual EBITDA profits of over £60m. Dreams was the No. 1 UK business in the Sunday Times Profit Track 2018. Last year Dreams was sold to the worlds No1 bedding company Tempur Sealy inc. Over the 8 years of ownership over £530m was realised for the shareholders from the original £54m investment in 2013. After 8 years of leading Dreams Mike decided it was the right time for the business and himself to move on. 

After 32 years in retail leadership Mike has spent the last 12 months learning how to live differently - he has travelled extensively with his wife Debra and is now balancing travelling with leadership coaching and consulting with the private equity business Sun Capital. 

Mike has two daughters. Mike is a keen golfer and supports Everton FC.
