As events unfold in the US and around the world, we have been asking ourselves what we and the many organisations we support are doing to address racism and social injustice.
At Windsor Leadership we recognise our role in being well placed to convene difficult conversations. We know how unsettling and uncomfortable it is to confront our own biases and ask ourselves whether we have done enough to tackle these systemic issues. Imagine the progress we might make if we were each to work through this discomfort; reflect, listen, understand; and commit to taking meaningful action.
The current pandemic provides us with the opportunity to make fundamental change, as organisations are having to rebuild and redefine their purpose, vision and values. As leaders we can use our influence and resources to work with our employees and communities to build a more inclusive and just society.
We would welcome the opportunity to hear how your organisation is tackling racism and social injustice. We will be hosting small group discussions over the summer with interested alumni from across all the different sectors. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch. We will then share the broad learnings amongst our alumni community to support and inform this wider moment of reflection.
